The English Language Center, in collaboration with Gulf Training and Education Company, conducted the first phase of the Self-Development and Personal Skills Program, targeting graduates of King Khalid University. The program was held from February 9 to 11 over three intensive training days.

The first phase covered a range of essential skills that graduates need to acquire before entering the job market. The first day focused on core skills that enhance professional readiness and build graduates’ self-confidence.

The English Language Center at King Khalid University announces the activation of the Campus Conversation Club across all Center locations at the University, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance students’ English communication skills and create an interactive and supportive learning environment.

In response to an invitation from the Abha Chamber of Commerce, the English Language Center paid an official visit to explore avenues of mutual cooperation in the fields of training and development. The visit aimed to serve the business community and strengthen the alignment between academic outcomes and labor market needs.

“LEGO in the Classroom: The Importance of Human Connection in Leadership/Teaching”

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Wes Thiessen from Ambrose University, Canada, who highlighted the significance of human connection in both leadership and teaching practices.

The English Language Center (ELC) is actively fulfilling the university’s strategic goals of enhancing the teaching and learning process to align with labor market demands and sustainable development. As part of its commitment to fostering social responsibility and volunteerism, the Center aims at expanding the scope of continuous learning and motivate both students and faculty members to engage in voluntary initiatives.

As part of its ongoing community partnership initiatives, the English Language Center (ELC) organized a specialized one-day on-site program for female students at the First Al-Abna’a Secondary School in the Military City. This initiative reflects the Center's commitment to enhancing academic awareness and supporting high school students in their preparation for standardized tests, ensuring they are psychologically and cognitively ready for university life.

The English Language Center concluded its Summer 2025 training programs by launching a package of five distinguished English language programs, aimed at enhancing communication skills and linguistic competence among a wide range of learners and interested participants. The programs witnessed notable participation from high school and university students, as well as graduates, youth, and individuals interested in the tourism and business sectors.
