Self-Development and Personal Skills Program for graduates of King Khalid University
The English Language Center, in collaboration with Gulf Training and Education Company, conducted the first phase of the Self-Development and Personal Skills Program, targeting graduates of King Khalid University. The program was held from February 9 to 11 over three intensive training days.
The first phase covered a range of essential skills that graduates need to acquire before entering the job market. The first day focused on core skills that enhance professional readiness and build graduates’ self-confidence.
The second day centered on job interview preparation, addressing several key topics, including understanding the causes of interview anxiety, strategies to manage it, proper preparation techniques, and practical guidelines to help participants present themselves professionally.
The third and final day concluded with a session on effective communication, highlighting both verbal and non-verbal communication skills and their impact on building successful professional relationships within the workplace.
The program was delivered by psychologist Amira Al-Anazi, whose expertise and outstanding engagement with participants enriched the training experience. The total number of attendees over the three days reached 600 participants, contributing significantly to the achievement of the program’s objectives and maximizing participants’ benefit.
This program is part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to empower graduates and equip them with practical skills that enhance their competitiveness in the job market and support them in achieving their professional aspirations.
